Our classes in Te Awamutu are fully funded, therefore FREE.

Antenatal classes are held at Te Awamutu Birthing, 670 Cambridge Road, Te Awamutu on Monday or Wednesday nights 7pm to 9.15pm for 6 weeks.  You are best to complete this course at least 3-4 weeks before your due date.

Our local Parents Centre offers Antenatal courses for expectant parents and their support people to prepare for the arrival of a new baby and becoming parents. Our highly regarded classes are run by qualified, trained childbirth educators in a relaxed and safe environment.

Topics covered in the course include:

  • Brief overview of pregnancy topics
  • Choices in childbirth
  • Your labour journey
  • Managing strategies
  • Dad's and Partners role
  • Breastfeeding

Baby & You

This is a three week course that runs on a Wednesday morning 10am to 12pm and is fully funded therefore FREE.

We provide a warm, comfortable and inviting space for new parents and their babies to learn about each other while embarking on the exciting journey that is parenthood.
